The Corporate Logo
The Lockyer Valley Regional Council Logo is a dynamic and colourful
depiction of the Valley in the shape of the combined Gatton and
Laidley Shire's, with a green fertile valley of growth, the rich
soils, and the blue of the creeks running through the Valley.
The logo captures the essence of the regions rich history built on
the back of our agriculture and farming heritage.

Cr Holstein on behalf of Gatton Shire Council welcomed the Cross and
marchers to the Lockyer Valley on their journey to Sydney for World
Youth Day in 2008.
65TH ANNIVERSARY PLANS

Spring Bluff Trust and Milne Bay veteran Beerrt Miles to plan the
65th anniversary of the 25th Battalion departure from Spring Bluff

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
October 2007
Each year Cr Janice Holstein and the staff at Gatton Shire Council
join together to provide Christmas shoe boxes for underprivileged
overseas children. The filled shoe boxes join the many at Withcott
Church of Christ to make many children’s Christmas a happy one.
